: The location is great, right by Custer state park, crazy horse and the town of Custer is quaint.
: There are two things that would probably would prevent me from renting El Dorado again, firstit was advertised as 2 full baths, but the the shower in the basement did not work and looked like it hasnt worked for a while. This was a main reason I rented because 2 showers. The upstairs bathroom is outdated and very small. Wish they would have said something at time of reservation. Second issue was the owners are very much in your face kind of people. They know every movement you make, and just a little to much hands on for me, I just want to have a peaceful vacation. I found them lurking in the dark while we were celebrating our end of vacation meal the night before we left, invited them in, and things got very heated. God forbid we had invited a couple over for dinner. Other then those two things our trip to the black hills was beyond our expectations!

: Great location. In the heart of the Black Hills. Very scenic. Outsides are the main attraction. A few minutes away from the western entrance of the Custer State Park. Upstairs beds were comfortable. Living and dining area was comfortable. Lots of eating places in town of Custer, just 3 or so miles away, with grocery store and gas. Close to many things - town of Custer, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, within 20 minutes of Mount Rushmore. Easy to get in/out coming from the East (I-90 E).
: Some simple things could be done to improve: (1) getting to the location REQURES that you interact with the owners, something that should not be necessary; (2) driving instructions focused on coming from Rapid City, down 385, but no directions were available by coming down 79, 36, then 16W. Directions should be available from North, South, East and West; (3) signage/a light, other indicators could be made available to make the house visible from the road. Bottom line, guests should be able to easily find the location without either getting stressed or stressing out the owners with directions to go east, west, etc.
