  : As a person travelling on my own, I was made to feel so welcome. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. The view from my room was lovely and it was very quiet away from the noise of the bar area. The service provided by the hosts was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay, offering valuable recommendations for exploring the area and always greeting me with a smile. The staff and locals could not have been more helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would love to come back again.

  : Location is perfect, just outside the centre of Middlewich and an easy walk into the town. Walk in the opposite direction along the canal path and there's a working lock just a short walk away. There's a gastropub where you can watch the narrow boats negotiating the lock from the veranda of the pub. The landlady of the Newton Brewery Inn is very helpful and friendly and the drinks were very reasonable prices. There is a very large beer garden leading down to the canal with very picturesque walks along the tow path.
  : The Newton Brewery Inn is an old building but the rooms are full of character and everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

  : Nice and quiet place with a canal adjacent. Room was spacious and facing the canal. Nice to have access to a small kitchen with a fridge. Appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Owner was extremely nice to wait and allow us to check in later.
  : Beds were uncomfortable and there was significant mould on the walls in the kitchen and bathroom.

  : The lady who welcomed me was very friendly & welcoming. She showed me up to my room and explained all that I needed to know. The rooms are directly above the bar, and I was not disturbed at all throughout the nights stay. The room was spacious and warm, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The shared kitchen had all the appliances that you could ask for, although I didn't need them. For the price that I was charged for this stay, I would stay again and is only a 15-minute drive from the race track.
  : The TV in the room was past its best days, you could say.The walls & celings in the shared kitchen and the toilet do need some care and some paint, but other than that, I've no complaints.
