  : I like the convenient location to the United Center, was a 10-15 minute walk and had no issues regarding getting there (directions) or safety concerns. I liked that only guests with a key card could get on the elevator and access the stairs/guest rooms. Parking was pretty simple, they had meters out front, there’s a hospital parking lot adjacent to their lot (Stroger) that I only paid $5 for Sunday all day/overnight. They do offer parking in their lot or the parking garage behind them for $30 and it will come out of your security deposit at check in if you decide to go that route. (Therefor this portion does NOT come back to you)
  : I didn’t like that they didn’t mention anything about a security deposit until time of check in. It wasn’t a lot, just $75 (for my 1 day stay anyway)and you get it back after checkout but that could have been mentioned so I wasn’t shocked. (If it was mentioned, it wasn’t very clear as I didn’t know)The rooms in some spots, especially behind the bed, the surfaces and the partition, could have been cleaned a lot better for the price they charge a night. (I’m a cleaner at a hotel and notice these things) the shower mats should also be replaced after being used to often, they had dark spots along the underside that shouldn’t be there.The mini fridge also barely worked and it was on “max” my drinks were barely cold. Had to get ice down the hall to get them at a good temperature.Providing extra blankets and sheets in the rooms with sofa beds would have been nice. I had one singular extra pillow and no blankets or sheets. These should not be something we need to ask for if you have rooms with beds and sofa beds. Luckily it was just my sister and I and we shared the king bed. The pillows, mattress, and box spring should also invest in protective covers that protect against dirt, water, allergens and bugs. This room had nothing of the sort.
