  : The pool availability was great fun for my daughter and the location is perfect for the city centre. The staff were so helpful and polite. They dealt with any issues promptly and professionally .
  : The rooms are outdated and scruffy. We had to move rooms from the first floor to the second floor, due to the toilet leaking and I also made the reception aware of how tatty and scruffy the room was. The next room wasn’t much of an improvement. It was scruffy and dated, it also had a stale smell to it along with the corridor. Breakfast was ok, the scrambled eggs had a grainy texture to them.

  : The staff were lovely, welcoming and very pleasant. The breakfast was amazing with an extensive selection. The restaurant was really modern and inviting. The entrance gave a grandiose feeling to the delight of my children. The decor of the room needed a slight modernisation, however, everything was clean and comfortable which is what matters most. Loved the robe and slippers, very nice touch bringing a home from home feeling. TV worked fine but remote was a little hit and miss (however we didn't come to watch telly). Didn't order room service but we did see a member of staff delivering it, the silver trays really did give a feeling of decadence.Being in the centre of chester allowed a lot of opportunity for exploring the cultural vastness of the area. Overall we had an amazing time and were made to feel very welcome. If we were to visit Chester again (highly likely) we would be very happy ro return to this hotel.
  : Minor points.The aircon was situated too close to the pull out bed, resulting in one of us being too cold, whilst the rest were too hot.In a family room for four it would be nice to have two more cups available so we could all have a hot drink at the same time when arriving.The prices in the bar were a little steep.

  : Parking was additional payment. We paid for the parking and then a week later received a fine from the car parking firm which we will try and get cancelled.
