  : Room -excellent. Good decor, bed comfortable, heating just right. Bathroom - clean and bright, shower good.Car parking was good, with easy access to the road. Receptionist was bright and check-in was smooth.
  : General seating area was low standard, not very amenable, no atmosphere. The bar was poorly stocked. For example, despite having several draught beer taps on display, we were told that it was bottles only. There was only a choice of two lagers and guinness, and one 0%. The bar menu was quite basic, with only a couple of dishes. We were expecting a restaurant service according to the booking, but it was a choice of burger or lasagne, plus one or two other items. Breakfast was, again, basic. there was a cooked option, but again, choice was limited. There were no spoons available for cereals, we had to ask, but each person had to ask individually. A little staff training would help. Tea and coffee were limited to a single machine which didn't work properly and I didn't find any facility for making toast.

  : Comfortable bed was close to Cheltenham Cricket Festival ground so was very happy
  : Couldn't get shower right pipping hot water but only managed luke warm when it was mixed.

  : Breakfast was very poor not cooked and served cold.Full English was very poor .Told breakfast open until 10 arrived 0930 to be told they are closing.Poor communication and staff at breakfast not interested.Food not cooked very well eggs were broken and over cooked sausage not cooked and one piece of burnt bacon served.
  : Breakfast and kerb appeal of this hotel needs sorting.
