  : A lovely older hotel made very comfortable for today's travelers. Enjoyed the various nooks and crannies of the hotel. The breakfast was also nice even though off season. The staff was superb and helpful several times.
  : The lovely outdoor porches off the 2nd and 3rd floors could be spiffied up a bit and cobwebs removed. But loved them so rather they stay open if cannot be improved than close them down!

  : Staff was great. On Saturday night we were told to wait until 8pm to order food due to the wedding going on. No problem! When I went for the food, the young lady working behind the bar realized I couldnt carry two appetizers and two waters. She got a try and then carried it to our room and refused a tip! Loved her and her extra effort!

  : The staff always nice and the room was tastefully updated. We so enjoy relaxing in the lobby as well as walking the property. We love that you permit dogs because the Athenaeum and Chautauqua Lake are my dogs favorite places to visit.
  : Our room was right above the booming DJ for Friday nights wedding. Although it stopped at 10:05 pm, the party did not. It spilled over into the hallways and porch. So we finally we able to get to sleep around 1am. So much for a peaceful stay.

  : Needs upgrading at least in our room. Parking was off site unless you paid $17 valet and tips/day.

  : The hotel was beautiful and full of history. A great location.
  : The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. It felt like you were rolling down into the middle of the bed. The parking is 1/2 a mile away which is not stayed anywhere.
