  : When we arrived we didn't have a room! They said they didn't get the reservation on booking. After waiting for 30 minutes, they told us that the way they could solve it was that we had to move to another room once. I asked that we wanted to see what they could give, while I looked they deducted the full amount. So they lied that they didn't get the booking because I didn't give my card. You can make mistakes, but it would have been appropriate to apologise.2 days later I indicated that in a 5 star hotel should have apologised and they sent me a champagne the same day :)

  : The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the views are great.
  : Considering this hotel costs over $600 a night, is a 5 star hotel, and is rated by Forbes, it was incredibly underwhelming. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, and I have never slept in a bed so uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and it caved in due to overuse. I wouldn't consider myself old, but my back ached both mornings I woke up in this hotel. Seeing how much they charge, they really should invest in new mattresses. Secondly, at check-in, the concierge told me that we have a "property view room." I had no expectations of what this meant because I didn't even remember what kind of room I booked. But since the concierge told me this, I went upstairs and opened the blinds to see the view. I literally laughed out loud because the "view" was the roof of part of the hotel and the rooftop HVAC units. The concierge just should not have said anything at all because this is laughable to be considered a "property view room."
