Staybridge Suites - Cedar Rapids North an IHG Hotel

  : The property was conveniently located near our destination. Check in staff allowed us to check in early. Comfortably accommodated our party size of 5 people. Suite was set up nicely, kitchenette was very nice and had the cutest dishwasher I’ve ever seen. Full sized refrigerator. We liked that the bathroom was sectioned off - toilet and bathtub behind closed doors. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good. Hot foods were limited, juice from the machine was watered down and blueberry pancake mix was too watery and separated after cooking. Kids loved the pool area, however they wished there was a hot tub. All in all a very nice place to stay.
  : Some staff were rude. We checked into our room and noticed very few towels so I asked for more. Was told to give them our old ones, which we hadn’t used yet and I explained we only had 2 towels and we have 5 people. When she went to get towels, her and a laundry staff were complaining. When she finally gave me towels, she asked if we just checked in and then apologized. There was a trash can in our room that wasn’t emptied and still had garage from the previous visitors. Picture frame in the bathroom was broken, one wrong move and the glass would have fallen out and shattered.
