  : The location and ease of access , staff were also extremely diligent on arrival as well as the young night porter.
  : To start with I worked here as a senior chef in this hotel when it was part of the Dunne group namely the Ridgepool Hotel. I worked here from 2002 to 2008 . Unfortunately the reminents of said hotel are visible both in public view (with the Dunne group logo on display via carpet in the public access stairwells) as well as the lift entrance / exit on the 2nd floor were the wall paper is peeling(not the only spot). As for entrance to the room using a "key" rather than electronic card the door lock appeared to have been pryed open previously. As for the room itself it contained many cobwebs and the like.There was no safe to store personnel belongings. As for breakfast the following morning, there was no adequate signage for the breakfast room , it was like a maze trying to locate it.The room itself was tastefully finished but that is where the positivity finished. Upon arrival there was breakfast buffet table holding fresh pastries, fruits ,salads ,meats and cereals.Instead table service was operational. I had ordered muesli and was given a " box " sitting inside a soul Bowl with luke warm milk that had appeared (and tasted) to be left sitting on a side board.When we asked the server for pastries it wad like a chore and further more like it was something never asked for before.We both ordered a full irish and to say the least it was dismal, over cooked and dry pudding, the same with bacon and the egg , was as hard , when we asked the server for new eggs they were not much better , these breakfast items obliviously have been pre cooked and left to sit in a bain Marie. This process I understand and accept but at least the "Chef" should know that freshness is key and product replenishing is critical. Having paid 209 for one night I deem this way to expensive for service rendered, extremely disappointed.
