  : Be warned, there is no air con in this hotel which is unbearable in summer months. On arrival, we were initially impressed by the picturesque exterior of this hotel. However, disappointment was soon to follow. The biggest let down of all was the manner in which we were spoken to when we simply asked if there was anything more that could be done to cool the room. We were met with a condescending and aggressive tone and were told what do you expect, at least you are on the first floor, try being on the second and we all have to suffer too. The only solution was to open the doors to allow air to circulate the room, which meant the room was full of mosquitos - adding to an uncomfortable stay. Our room was not serviced during our 3 night stay which was another disappointment - no fresh towels, no replenished tea or coffee, or beds made - a standard expectation when booking a hotel. On top of this, we were also asked not to enter the pool with suncream on, due to their lack of efficient cleaning facilities which was evident when we saw how filthy the pool was. Although they did allow us to use the sun loungers on our last day after check-out (before our train departed), when we requested towels we were rudely told no (even after we suggested we could reuse our dirty ones). This meant lying on plastic sun beds with no cushioning or towels. Overall, we felt that the management didnt actually want guests staying at the hotel. They could benefit from taking a beginners class in basic customer service, as well as some upgrading to the general hotel facilities. We would not recommend this hotel at all. Thankfully, were delighted to have now arrived in Nice with a warm welcome from Sandrine of the Cosy Cocoon.
