  : Location was excellent. Very quiet little village. Staff were very helpful. We were attending a wedding and needed to check in early and that went very well. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Overall fabulous place.

  : The Alma Inn was a lovely place to stay. Though, getting there wasn't easy if you don't know the area & the roads are very narrow. It had a marquee & large outside eating area. It seemed a very popular eating place. Our room was very nice. Tastefully decorated. Nice size bathroom but not the best of showers as the water was very hot & you couldn't seem to make it cooler.
  : We were disappointed with the shower as you couldn't regulate the temperature. The other problem we had was the heat in the whole of the building as it has been a very hot day when we arrived. After driving from Whitby I felt drained when I entered the hotel as it was so hot there. I think we were above the kitchen as we could smell the cooking. There was a fan in the room but you didn't feel cool unless yoy were right in front of it. Luckily, you could sit outside for a bit. Obviously, on a cooler day you wouldn't face that problem. Maybe two fans in the room would keep the room cooler when it is very hot. I did feel sorry for the people working in the kitchen area.

  : We booked at the last minute and was pleased with the accommodation for the price paid. We enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
