  : using covid to not come in and change out towels and straighten the room. didnt tell us about the breakfast. its not in the lobby.

  : Absolutely nothing- we cancelled the reservation the same day.
  : I travel the country and have stayed in a few terrible hotels/motels that deserved one star ratings. I also understand you get what you pay for. But the Honeysuckle Inn is by far the worst. I arrived on 7/17 after 4:30 p.m and my room was not ready. The front desk lady Tammy was overwhelmed and had no clue what she was doing. Then I find out both pools are closed due to no maintenance. I was told to come back in a couple hours and it should be ready. I came back at 8pm and it still wasn't clean. Tammy was not sympathetic or accommodating. And so, I cancelled my reservation because there was too many issues to overlook.

  : The beds were comfortable.
  : Oh, let me begin, first of all we booked that motel because of the pools. Neither of them were open when we stayed. The door had a gap in the bottom so the day before it had rained and the carpet was all wet in front of the door, the air conditioner Stunk like mold. Wasnt very clean. Didnt have a refrigerator or microwave in the room.

  : i came and brought my granddaughter she was looking forward to going swimming It would have been very helpful if it had been put on the website that both pools would be closed. we were very dissapointed

  : Easy to get in and out ro the strip. Staff was friendly.
  : Was told on Monday, July 17th, that the pool would be opened on Tuesday. We arrived on Friday, July 21st and pool was filled but still unavailable. We had a very disappointed grandson, since this was a specific reason for booking here. There was no discount offered for this inconvenience and the only option we were told was Moonshine Beach and it was so crowded that that was not an option either. We were offered to change hotels to one with a pool but there were no vacancies at those establishments. Room had very few outlets so it was a struggle since my husband and I both use CPAP machines and there was still trash on the floor by the bed. I understand staffing issues but rooms should be thoroughly cleaned before renting them. We had stayed here before years ago, not the same experience. Should have booked elsewhere with no pool and saved about $100 that we could have used towards other entertainment. Lesson learned.

  : The breakfast was great and the room was nice and clean.
  : When we got to the hotel, the front desk staff was outside on the phone and acted like we were interrupting her. We were then informed that NEITHER pool was open (which was one of the reason for booking) and we should take that up with the 3rd party. We stayed a total of 4 days/3 nights and neither one of our rooms were touched once as far as cleaing goes.
