  : Last minute booking shortly before arrival as we were on a long journey. Friendly welcome by the Chef/?possibly owner and checked room was ready for use. The waiter was lovely and so friendly with our dog even bringing some food from the kitchen for her...one very happy Labrador!! Reserved for dinner which was delicious with huge portions. Situated at the edge of a nature reserve with plenty walking opportunities. Free outside parking, good wiFi and dog friendly.
  : Couldn't access our room as hadn't been shown the method to open the door but this was quickly sorted. Had requested a double but it was made up as twin so had to push the beds together, this was simply resolved but we had wondered if we had been given the correct room as we had only reserved 30 minutes prior to arrival.

  : Location was good for our visit good breakfast and had a lovely evening meal. Staff were good.
  : The pillows on the bed were lumpy and uncomfortable. No air conditioning and hot at night. No coffee making in the room and very dated decor in the bedroom s.

  : The staff were excellent. There was a big wedding in progress but the staff did their very best to find us a table for dinner and to look after all the non wedding guests. The room was spacious and comfortable and the food superb, also really good value for money.
  : Would have preferred for breakfast to have sat in a separate smaller area .Where we were was that was obviously set out for the wedding guests from the previous evening.

  : The setting was quiet and our room was very clean and comfortable.
  : Service at the bar and restaurant was very slow. It seemed like the male member of staff was absolutely rushed off his feet whilst other staff were not.
