  : The picture of the room and the view match my experience. The room was spacious and had great light. The hotel has a great foyer area - ceiling fans, sofas - and a ground floor gym, free to use for guests. My room on the first floor had two fridges, a micro, a/c, a big tv, everything I could want for a stopover during a road trip. I ended up staying there 3 days because it was comfortable and in a good location to explore the western side of Lake Michigan. The hotel is a straight road - one mile - from Harrington Beach State Park with its lovely walks along the shore. The village of Belgium was very sweet and well off, very safe. There was a Subway and McDonalds and a gas station within feet. Also, the Interstate was a minute away. The lady at reception was very pleasant and always helpful, as was the manager, who allowed me to use reception's desk top to access the hotel's printer. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would return there with no hesitation.
  : I couldn't give this hotel 10/10 for one reason only - no coffee machine in the room!!!! There was a a hot drinks machine in the foyer, but was $2.50 per drink.

  : The room is dirty. Waited for the room to be "cleaned" as it was not ready at check-in. Came back over an hour later, and my room door was wide open, and it appears they did not change the blankets or sheets. Found dead skin and fingernail clippings on my sheets. Ketchup packets shoved between bed and nightstand. My mother in laws room down the hall was missing a smoke detector, and the wires for it were hanging out of the ceiling and live. Killed 4 bugs last night in the room. No towels had to request them. Keurig with no coffee or anything to use with it. Broken outlet cover plates and carpet smells like dog urine. Will never stay here again. This place seems to run down and has nothing to recommend to anyone else. Not to sound like a complete ass this place should probably be shut down and reopened after everything gets repaired or fixed.
