  : Highfield Park, overall, was fantastic location... it was idyllic and the grounds were very good.. The cleaning staff at Fir Tree Court were friendly and obliging...
  : I really don't think the Reception staff have been given ANY customer facing/service skills. When I checked in on Saturday afternoon, the receptionist was talking to a colleague and completely ignored me while they addressed a room issue (ir would have been far better/nicer if the receptionist had acknowledged me (and another waiting guest behind me) and said "good afternoon sir/madam ... I won't be long .. will be with you in a moment"..Matters didn't improve much I'm terms of manners when I checked out this morning... No smile, no enthusiasm... I asked about my next booking on 10th August ... receptionist confirmed that there was no wedding planned that weekend... We discussed my single room bookings .. that the attic room was tiny and that I ideally wanted a bigger room. Unfortunately no upgrade options / costs were offered... it would also have been nice if the receptionist had said something along the lines of "take care and look forward to seeing you in two weeks time, Mr Tarrant ".... terrible service and I'm not looking forward to meeting the reception team on 10th August .. For me, Service is everything... good manners and being courteous costs nothing....

  : They had a wedding party on so the only food available was the bar menu which had very limited choices and the standard of the food was terrible honestly the worst burger I can ever remember having when I mentioned it at reception he said he wouldn’t have chosen it, we where put in a tiny room right next to the main door and stairs so we had a terrible night kept awake by the constant stream of drunk people returning from the wedding and to finish off our stay half way through breakfast we were told it was not included with the booking and we would have to pay extra after me telling them it was included they admitted there mistake but no apology was offered if you think I’m just a complainer it’s the first time I’ve left a review that’s how bad it was
