  : A huge disappointment, based on all the positive reviews. The owner was half an hour late meeting us on arrival, so we waited outside in the courtyard. When she finally arrived in her car, she blamed us for changing our check-in time, although we called and told her when we were coming and she agreed. There was no one else who could let us in the room. The room was bright, but the furnishings were rather cheap and tacky. The bed was tiny, not even European full size, so difficult for two people to sleep together. The bathroom was modern, but so poorly and cheaply done, it was a shock. The toiletries were used bottles from previous visits. Then it was difficult to sleep because there is a restaurant downstairs with lots of people talking and laughing until about 1:00 am, so it was very noisy. When we came for breakfast, the room was ok, but still with lots of tacky decorations, not elegant at all. The breakfast was only bread, not even toasted. There were no croissants, no pain au chocolat, no meats, no cheeses, etc. The coffee was weakly brewed and when I asked for milk, the hostess brought a small bottle from her fridge, low-fat, opened it there and left it on the table!!! Not heated, not whole milk, not even in a pitcher. That was the final straw and we left as soon as possible from a very tacky place in a nice old chateau.
