  : Comfortable, very clean and well equipped apartment. Situated in the heart of a pretty village (but note that despite the name, the "water" apartment does not look onto the canal in front of the house - if that matters to you :) ). Very good bed and nice decor with the beams and bricks of the old house nicely incorporated in the design of the room. Friendly and welcoming host. Good cooking facilities and, in contrary to other villages in the area, several shops and supermarkets close by - helpful for self-catering in Corona times.

  : The checkout time is way too early. Had to set my alarm on a Sunday and rush to make it in time.

  : We liked most the athmosphere of the apartement, it was very calm and cozy while still modern. It really fitted the theme "water". The bed was very comfortable to sleep and the kitchen was well equiped, including a microwave. We used two bicycles from It Buterhus to go around the lake.
  : Although there was a hairdryer there was no iron. Guess this could have been in the reception, but covid times makes it understandable :)

  : The location is very nice, right in the centre of Balk on the river; one night there was a street party so it was a bit loud, but otherwise very pleasant. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable; there are some low beams however so if you are tall be careful when getting out of bed. Our host was very helpful and even allowed us to park our 1933 car in their garage so it was off the street at night!
  : The decor was a bit grey, but that is not a criticism - it just isn't really our taste!
