  : The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed eating dinner at the restaurant and had the chef's five course menu. Because the hotel is tucked in a neighborhood it is very quiet. There is a short walk to the shops and restaurants and chateau
  : We had some language barriers even though we used a translation app. At the time of booking I requested an in room refrigerator for insulin storage. It was in the room but did not feel cool inside as though it may have been plugged in only recently. My daughter asked a staff member to place the insulin in the kitchen's refrigerator and her travel ice pack in the freezer. She showed the words on a translation app and felt as though the staff member understood. However, the insulin must have gone into the freezer as well. We also had trouble understanding our server's explanation of the five course chef's menu meal we enjoyed. Not a big deal, we played guess that food.

  : Le Clos de Amboise was lovely. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant was wonderful. The wait staff in the restaurant was some of the best we've ever experienced.
  : The room was smaller than we expected and it would have been helpful if when we checked in, someone would have shown us how to regulate the heat.

  : Our room was on the top floor of the main building with elevator access. Lovely French decor and a nice outlook to the garden. Parking on site was great. Easy walk to the town centre. Also would recommend the dinner (tasting menu) in the restaurant.
  : We booked two rooms assuming they would both be in the same building but they weren't. This wasn't an issue but best to request this if you would like to be together. Lounge and bar area was set up for dinner service which made it difficult to find a space for four people to enjoy pre-dinner drinks.
