  : The place was a little bit run down, needs an urgent update. The staff was very nice and friendly, the breakfast was ok.

  : Loved the room. Staff on site were fantastic, really helpful and nothing a problem. Rooms were old, but I thought had character. The air con looked like it was from the 70s, but worked great. The room had a fridge which was a game changer! Supermarket a 20yd walk from the hotel. We booked a room with a terrace for a few pounds more and it was well worth it. Cant praise the staff and service enough. It felt like you could ask them for anything and they would try to help. I would defiantly stop here again. Walk into the centre took about 20 mins along the canal path.
  : The mosquitoes down in this area can bite through metal! Be sure to buy some repellent from the supermarket 20yds away!!

  : I booked a one night stay with a no refund cancellation policy. The morning before we were due to arrive, we had a serious unexpected family emergency. While waiting in an emergency department I sent an email to booking.com requesting a waiver of the cancellation policy, considering the circumstances. Booking.com promptly replied telling me to apply directly to the hotel because they were the only ones in a position to waive the policy. This has happened to me once before several years ago and that hotel were so empathetic and lovely. They offered me a full refund or a an exchange night. I chose the latter and had a very pleasant stay a few months later.This hotel, however, was totally intransigent and made no such offer, despite the extraordinary circumstances. Surely, this is not the way to run a business and create goodwill

  : The rooms felt cozy. Everything was nice and bright with beautiful trees around. It was quiet and the pool lends itself to relaxation.
