  : The property grounds was beautiful, the inside looked beautiful! Some say it looked like a plantation! As for me the building itself reminded my of a mental institution. The front of the building was more inviting but driving from the back and side of the building, it didnt look like a hotel, more like a nursing home, or a mental institution. Once walking into the property, it was very bright white, gray, and antique vibes. Fell like I walked into the 1920s but if was pretty! The only colors came off of the guest clothes!
  : In the room if was easy so see any flaws, in the bathroom above shower it was some wet stain on the cell. On one of the bathroom sink handles there was some gum or candy substance stuck on it. The water came out rusty brown before it turned clear and this happened numerous times. I was staying at the hotel to celebrate my sons wedding for this day. After the rehearsal dinner, settling down in my room around 11 pm we noticed our warm was quite warm, I tried to switch cool, it stated it did switch to cool but hour an hour if felt warmer! A little over 12 I could take the heat and I had to get up at 5:30 for my makeup appointment. I called the front and explained the air isnt coming on and how hot it is. The guy at the front described to me how to worked the thermostat. I already tried all that he described to me. He said back because what time was, unfortunately there wasnt no maintenance man to check it. So I told him I will tried again. I tuned the unit and the window. Now the unit was giving off a hissing sound along with the heat. I dealt with this for an hour or more. I felt sick with a headache, sticking body, and just irritated. I had enough, I called the front and the guy came on the phone. I told him nothing hasnt changed and its getting to bare this heat. I have asthma so that doesnt help. Also the price I paid for one night $317. Something needed to be done and to send one up to the room to check it. He agreed to send someone and they came within 3 mins. Once I opened the door and the person walked in, he started, omg, its hot in here, my thoughts, nah really!!! The man walked to the the thermostat and tried exactly the same I did. He saw the cool word on the screen of the thermostat but now the temperature is reading 85 in the room. He noticed the heat wasnt turning off! He pressed harder on it and nothing.

  : The valet personnel are impeccable in what they do. Also, I was greeted by an older gentleman manager at the front guess, he was exceptionally pleasant and professional.
  : The inside of the bathroom commode was dirty and also the shower water was slippery.

  : The entire resort was fabulous. It is definitely a hidden gem. We plan on visiting again.
  : We had an issue with housekeeping, but the manager handled the issue in a professional manner.

  : The breakfast French toast was excellent from the menu in the main dining room. The main dining room itself was very large, very bright, with lots of windows-a cheery place to start the day. Loved the fact that a carafe of coffee was placed on our table. The coffee was very good. The room we stayed in was renovated in a crisp neutral palette. The bathroom was very clean. The outdoor pool was spacious and pretty, with 2 shallow areas leading to a slightly deeper middle. It had a cute snack bar that offered food items and drinks, including beer and others. The lobby was classically modern, with the names of golfers on the walls. It led into a modern bar, which included an outdoor patio. The exterior of the hotel is gorgeous. Flowers lined various areas. Valet available.
  : I got the buffet the second day and it was just ok because the waffles were dry and not real warm. The hash browns were formed patties but the freshly made omelette was good. I thought the hotel could have had more instructive information or faqs about things like the various dining rooms and their times open and functions. Also, as new golfers there, we didnt really understand the protocol beforehand ie, where and when to drop off our club bags, etc. It was also not explained to us whether there were other ways to enter/exit our particular hotel area (the hotel is huge). There was no booklet in the room which could have explained so much of the above plus things like local restaurants, etc. The room door got stuck every single time and we had to shove a shoulder into it to get it completely opened. The room itself smelled slightly musty. The hot water took a good 5 minutes to heat up. The shampoo and body wash bottles were tiny for 2 people to share. We had to conserve them, especially since our room hadnt been cleaned when we returned to it around 3 pm the second day.
