  : The location was ideal for us, plenty parking. Local amenities close by.Accommodation was clean and tidy. We didn't see any staff, so there were no comments or complaints.
  : I asked for a room away from the road, we got a room on the roadside.Be aware that when booking you are contacted after confirming by the Spires group for a 200 deposit. It isn't clear when booking, and I'm guessing not everyone will be able to do this.

  : Its location was convenient
  : They demand a deposit (in our case 150) before you can get in and after you have paid. Didnt see any mention of that in the booking site. Also it smelled - as soon as you opened the door to the main block of flats there was a bad smell. It got worse in the flat. We wil not stay again - they do not represent good value for money.

  : Assistance from on call duty manager was required due to heating issues. Unfortunately this couldn't be resolved so a room move was provided- this was greatly appreciated
  : Beds were not the most comfy

  : It was close to where our relatives live as we were visiting from overseas.
  : The apartment smelt of fish, especially the fridge/freezer which hadnt been cleaned and was ice bound. The dishwasher was also unclean with remnants of food from the past and a ripped sheet on the bed.Due to us booking in on a Saturday we couldnt get help, apart from phoning Edinburgh Spires where the duty manager was. He told us that he would send a cleaner, didnt happen until the 2nd call and the sheet was changed but the smell remained as the fridge wasnt cleaned. Eventually on the Monday after phone calls to Booking.com and the office at the Spires, we were put into another apartment. The manager was supposed to come and see us during the week, this never happened! We wont be going there again even though it is near relatives.

  : Appartment was so basic to the point where it was just uncomfortable and disappointing. Bed was ok but the living room was so poor it wasn't worth spendin any time in - specifically the sofa was rock solid and very uncomfortable.
